The 5-Step Formula For Career Freedom

My life has never been better and it’s all because I decided to make career freedom my non-negotiable.

In the past 13 months I’ve been on 5 epic trips to 3 different countries all while earning an income doing what I love and never sacrificing my health or my family in the process.

But as you read this you might be tempted to think “That’s great for Heather but I doubt it’s possible for me, too”.

So I’m here to tell you, that IT IS possible and I’ve boiled it down to a simple, 5-step formula that anyone can follow! (Keep scrolling to find out how)

Having a career with both time and money freedom, where you make your own hours, do work that lights you up, can travel the world and have still plenty of time for family and friends isn’t just for extraordinary people.

It’s possible for women like you and I.

To prove it to you, here’s just how un-extraordinary I am:

  • I grew up as the youngest child in a farming family near a town so small that we didn’t even have a movie theatre.
  • I had no clue what I wanted to be when I grew up so I enrolled in an Agriculture degree program out of high school. (Crazy, right?!)
  • I quit my first ‘real’ job after University only 3 months in – with no other job prospects, no unemployment insurance and $16K worth of student debt.
  • I was married with two kids and a dog, driving a minivan by the time I was 30 years old.
  • I left the corporate world in 2007 with zero savings and no real business plan while my youngest child was still in diapers.

You see?

I’m proof that anyone can create a career they love and have the life they deserve if they decide to.

It started with the decision to not settle for a regular job where someone else was in charge of how much money I could make or when, where and how I had to work.

And it’s not just me. I’ve seen many of my clients make this decision and the steps that follow remain the same.

The Proven 5-Step Formula To Career Freedom

  1. Discover who you truly are underneath all of the outdated expectations, old labels, shoulda’s and ought-to’s (Hello, Beautiful!)
  2. Create a clear vision of what YOU want your life to look like (and stop drifting in indecision)
  3. Clarify what you need to do your best work (aka your “non-negotiables”)
  4. Tap into your natural power and creativity to make it happen (Yes, it’s still there no matter how burnt-out or beat down you may feel)
  5. Lean back and receive the inspiration and opportunities that the world has available for you (You’ll be amazed at how quickly life turns in your favor when you stop fighting it)

So remember, having a life that you love and a career that lights you up IS possible for every woman.  No matter where you’re at now and no matter what you see as an obstacle before you, it all begins the moment you decide to be yourself.

Cheers! To ordinary people having extraordinary lives.
