Change your mind, change your life! [Mindset Part 2 of 4]

Last week I shared with you the importance of having a strong mindset. It can be the difference between success and failure in your career and life.

In part 2 (below) I’m going to share some super easy practices you can do in as little as 2 minutes a day that can set you up for success, no matter the challenges you face.

You see, like living a healthy lifestyle, cultivating a positive mindset takes consistent action and I’ve developed some specific strategies that work for my clients and they can work for you, too.

So find a quiet, comfy space and let’s get started.

1) Be Grateful for What You Have (2 minutes)

Take 3 deep cleansing breaths then make a list of all the things you have to be grateful for. Relax and write down whatever comes to mind.

2) Believe (3 minutes)

Think about your goals and desires. Using the statements, I am…, I can…, and I have… recite or write out your beliefs/ mantras/ affirmations that could help you reach those goals.

With as much detail as possible, imagine yourself having, being or doing whatever it is you want. What do you hear, see, feel, taste, and smell? The more you can feel the emotion of that moment, the better. Continue to replay that visualization over in your mind, deepening your experience and awareness of that moment.

4) Receive Divine Guidance (3 minutes)

Whether you’re spiritual person or not, asking for guidance is a way to tap into greater wisdom and access a higher plane of creativity. Pose the question, “How can I…” or “What is there for me to know about…” and be open to what comes up for you.

5) Be Grateful for What’s Coming to You (2 minutes)

Take 3 deep cleansing breaths. Now that you’ve focused on what you want to create, celebrate that it’s coming to you! Express gratitude as if it’s already in your reality.

Each of these practices are intended to be done sequentially, but any one of them can be done individually when time is short. Try them as I’ve suggested above, and then adjust in a way that suits you.

Everyone is different. Your mindset practice will be different too.

The point is that you are taking time every single day to cultivate a mindset that can help you reach your goals.

If you’d like more insight into how to complete each of the 5 practices above, be sure to check out my posts in the Career Freedom Seekers exclusive Facebook group. I’ll be uploading a video each day this week.
