The Guide to Getting What You Want, Part 3

Develop A Strong Mindset

Many women have been taught that their dreams are wrong, foolish or naive.  They’ve become accustomed to thinking small and settling for what comes to them in their career (or biz) rather than thinking big and taking responsibility for the outcomes in their life.  But that is precisely the shift that’s required!

The 3rd thing a woman must master in order to create a career she loves and the live she deserves is a strong mindset.

In the final video of this series, The Guide To Getting The Career You Want, I issue this mindset challenge:

1) Create Your Big Bold Vision: Take 5 minutes of private time to write out the big bold vision you have for your career (or business).  Give yourself permission to express your grandest desires or ambitions. Don’t get stuck on what’s realistic based on your current circumstances – get into the space of possibility!

2) Shift from “If” to “How”:  When we create a big vision it can sometimes be intimidating. Our first impulse is to rationalize why it’s not possible. But this is the critical mistake!  Instead of wondering if it can happen, ask how can it happen?  Identify what you can do to move closer to this reality – and then do it.  Adopt a no excuses and no drama policy in life and watch your dreams become a reality.
