When The Career Truth Hurts

What are you pretending not to know?

We all have issues in our lives that we’d rather not face.  They are the hidden truths about our job, our relationships, and our health.

Public truths are the messages we tell the world and ourselves.  They the happy stories, the pat answers, the veneers we wear to shield us from discomfort.

When the career truth hurts

It requires courage and faith to acknowledge what’s really going on; courage to face the truth (even when it hurts) and faith in your ability to deal with it.

You can stick your head in the sand or you can step into the light.

Just remember, nothing grows in the dark.

  • What are you pretending not to know?
  • What conversations have you been avoiding?
  • Where are your blind spots?

No pain. No gain.
