What works for you? [Mindset Part 4 of 4]

If you’ve been reading my emails over the past few weeks or watching my videos in the Career Freedom Seekers Facebook Group, no doubt you’ve recognized that mindset plays a role in success in your career and your life.

With approximately 80% of our thoughts being negative, it’s no wonder so many of us suffer from self-doubt, anxiety and stress.

Luckily, it doesn’t have to be that way. We can literally rewire our brain towards positive, uplifting, thoughts that help us on our path to success.

A mindset practice, completed in as little as 5 to 10 minutes a day, is all it takes to begin shifting your life and career in the direction you want. But you may still be unsure on exactly how to create a strategy that works for you.

So today, in part 4 (below) I’m going to share with you 3 simple steps for building a mindset practice that works for you.

My 30 minute a day mindset practice has taken me from miserable and stuck in a job I hated, to running my own business that allows me to work fewer hours, travel the world, and share what I’ve learned with other people so that they can do the same.

Over time I tried different mindset practices, until I found the perfect combination of what works for me.

But what works for me, doesn’t necessarily work for you! Below are 3 steps designed to help you create your own effective mindset practice.

  1. Choose one mindset practice (from Week 2 or Week 3’s suggestions) and try it out for a week.
  2. At the end of the week ask yourself: What was easy or pleasurable about the practice? What was challenging?
  3. If you liked the practice, keep it up and make adjustments or refinements as you go! Or, if you didn’t, repeat step 1 and 2 until you are enjoying, and even looking forward to, your daily mindset practice.

It doesn’t have to be hard, or time consuming. Like exercising, the key is consistency.

It can even help you get through your tough days (because we all get those). On those days dedicating a little extra time to mindset can go a long way. It can give you that little bit of extra support you need.

Remember: You can achieve everything you want – a successful career that lights you up, a fulfilling life surrounded by loved ones, and just about anything else you desire. It all begins with the right mindset.

I hope you feel inspired to create your own mindset practice and if you do, I’d love to hear about it. Simply leave a comment below and I will personally respond.
